Renee Sefchick

Passionate about helping others, Renee Sefchick is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with a deep understanding of the challenges and hardships life can present. Having faced many of her own struggles, Renee knows firsthand what it feels like to experience anxiety, uncertainty, and the weight of life’s difficulties. She believes that we are all in this life together, and that healing and growth are more achievable when we work together.

Renee’s therapeutic approach is solution-oriented, focusing on equipping clients with practical skills to manage anxiety, stress, and feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. She is committed to providing steady, helpful, and easy-to-adopt coping mechanisms that can be implemented in everyday life. Her goal is to help clients develop real, effective tools for managing life’s challenges and to create a safe, supportive space where they can work through their concerns.

Renee works with a diverse clientele, including children (ages 10-12), teenagers (13-18), adults, elderly clients, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. She specializes in helping clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, and family dynamics, offering therapy for both individual and relational challenges.

Renee offers a range of therapeutic services, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, Gestalt Therapy (which incorporates techniques such as the 'empty chair' and other directive activities to explore issues directly), and Family Therapy. These approaches are tailored to meet each client's unique needs, focusing on practical skills, self-awareness, and effective coping strategies to address a variety of challenges.
